Starting to love these nights filled with lil bit laughter
I'm not expecting anything big like happily ever after
But I feel like I'm getting to bed lil bit better and less counting sheep
And somedays I don't hear the alarm and oversleep
Days are getting brighter and I'm seeing the end more and more
I'm glad my life isn't all twisted and dark like before
Kept praying to God and kept my eye on the prize
Glad my life changed for the better cuz I'm tired of the goodbyes
If you knew the old me allow me to reintroduce myself
I've been working on alot but mostly to better myself
Because I've got too many too depend on me to fail
Look towards the sky and blow two kisses and pray I prevail
