The hardest thing I had to do was write this letter just for you.
Though you may not see it or read it's words, it had great meaning
Ooh how it hurt
At first I want to tell of how things came to be but it saddened my heart and it shrunk to a pea, so instead I'll write on a note I've never done
Wishing you health, joy, peace, just not love
Love is to soon and I still feel salty
But I do wish you true happiness even if it has to be without me
At one point in time we fit together so well,
As two love birds under a spell
That time has since past,
Sad and bitter sweet
However, peace will come
So I wish you health, joy, peace, just not love
Cause I still care and I'm not ready to except you with someone new
I understand it's a two way street, but our hearts didn't fully meet.
I gave you more that filled the whole and so I'm hurting more cause I cared the most
If you do see this letter could you write back
Hopefully then the words could be sweeter
Could I hear your hearts afflictions for once,
Listen to your wants, your dreams what you really held within
With you I never knew, but now that we're done
Do you think I'll be able to?
