Her Lost Lover

I found her damaged and lonely,
She has a man but he never filled her hole,
A hole made from seeking true love,
She never got that fatherly love.
And so she kept her pain and agony inside,
Treated it like treasure pirates couldn't find,
That's until I came into her life,
And displayed qualities that left her surprised.
I gave her laughter, made her think how to prosper,
I made her glow from inside out, took away her doubts,
I told her she's beautiful in any form or shape she is,
I did all of that with ease though she's hot I gave her breeze.
But I still feel like a failure,
Brain blocked its in some container,
Reason for that, she still treats me bad,
Even when I'm the one who always has her back.
I know we share something special,
I still wish we met in a different lifetime,
Maybe I would fully understand her,
And show her how a real man values his woman.
But that's just some wishful thought,
I'm left to deal with attitude phases,
Blowing up on my face now I need a face-lift,
I've tried to reach out multiple times,
But she just knows how to make me feel like..
Like.. I'm wasting my time!
Guess I'll remain the lover she never had,
While I occupy her brain.
