Tears fall like rain, pouring down my face
As I sit alone in this empty space
The darkness surrounds me, a heavy weight
As I try to navigate through this emotional state
My heart is heavy, like a stone
The ache inside me I cannot outgrown
I try to reach out and grasp on to hope
But it slips through my fingers, like a slippery slope
The world feels cold and unkind
A constant battle just to clear my mind
I search for a light in the darkness inside
But all I find is a pain I cannot hide
The sadness consumes me, like a disease
Wishing for an escape, a way to ease
The weight of my heart, the burden of my soul
A never-ending cycle that I cannot control
So here I sit, alone in this abyss
A shattered heart, a broken promise
The tears continue to fall, without end
As I try to find a way to mend.
