Hermit

Lazy,hazy and carefree
Cynically he is unconcerned
Never felt all connected like wee
Being a hermit he never sends
Silently he is crunching a pea
His foot wear of years ago he never mend
Stopping shortly to take a tea
Beside their a flower he tends
He falls abruptly on his knee
Sobbing on sighting the flower bend
His companion of ages fallen he sees
His only motivation as he tends
That if it can live and pay it fees
He too would make sure he meet his ends
All day of his life it has been his gee
To him it seems a helping hand it lends
All his life seemed on lock with key
With renewed faith he looks at his friend
Sprouting gingerly and delicately he see
Then he smiled showing his happy land
