My cheeks are flushed with a rosy hue,
For a special someone, I'm crushing too.
Their smile brightens up my day,
And takes my breath away.
The beat of my heart is like a drum,
As I think of you and all you've done.
So when I see the traffic light,
I wonder if it's red or green, tonight.
For I long to hold your hand,
And be with you, on this land.
You're my queen, my shining star,
The one who's captured my heart.
So I'll wait, and I'll hope,
That someday, I'll be able to cope.
With the feelings I have inside,
And tell you, you're my forever bride.
So let the light be red or green,
It doesn't matter, you'll still be my queen.
For my love for you will always shine,
And be with you, forever and all time.
