Causing that empty hollow feeling inside
Phone tilted away from my peering eyes
Fingers tapping away on the screen you hide
Quickly changing to games so innocent
When you know I'll see your screen
Hiding away the chat makes me think it's intimate
Because you work so hard to keep it unseen
You see my anger and disgust every evening
Questioning if you've done something wrong
All the while continuing your deceiving
My jealousy and hurt to prolong
There's no way you can't know what this does to me
My body language can be easily read
If you would take time from your screen to see
I want you to be sending those messages and pictures to me instead
