Hiding behind a mask of a clown
Smartass remarks hide his frown
He's always smiling but it's not as it seems
He's lost alot and given up on his dreams
Tortured by the thoughts he keeps locked away
Living in darkness from day to day
Shackled by his own self doubt and despair
Paralyzed by anxiety though he appears without care
Not knowing how to love never felt joy in His life
He uses his clown mask to stay hidden from sight
Surrounded by people yet still all alone
He remains a stranger to family and friends hes known
Hardened by the evil and bad things that cant be undone
Not realizing the cost of partaking in such fun
Trying to find someone that will love the person he hides
But he is to scared to step into the light
