Are history book was once full
With pictures and writing
Even samples of the things we did together in the past
We showed almost anyone
We would come across
The love we had for years
From the time we met
To how long, we have been together
Now our history book is empty
Everything in it, is gone
No pictures and writing there
No samples
We have not shown anyone, the book for years
Out of embarrassment
We hid it in the basement
To the point, the book as become dusty
Needing repair
So many times, I was close to
Throwing the book away
Since I didn't recognise it
Almost forgot about it
This history book is our love life
That was once filled with love and happiness
So many great memories
So many signs of us falling in love
That we had to tell someone
About each other
Everyone knew we were meant to be
Even we knew that
All of a sudden
We start hating each other
So many things with us, got sour
We become distant
We stopped communicating
To the point we're not recognizable
It's because we did at one point
Forget love
We were not willing
To fight for it
We were not willing
To go through the trials
To dismiss the hurt
Now our relationship is no longer
worth investing in
We almost thew it away so many times
But it's clear, one day
There will be no history book
No you and me
