Hodgepodge

At times I see them after they're gone
Out on the porch or watering the lawn
I see the silhouette of the shadow against the Mirage
In hodgepodge
Idle hands and led feet
Felt your heat in the back seat
Great body, tight and petite
Possibly a goddess from mythology of Greeks
With me on the city streets
And though I know she's not there
I will go about my own unaware
If she really cared
Maybe I was just scared
Splitting headaches splitting hairs
I ask truth out of a dare
I dared I could bare
What would fallow the tare
To be fair it goes deeper than dispaired
When your someone is nowhere.
And you're falling down the stairs.
No net no hook no snare
Only layers of flares let off the glare
That your shadow shares
While traveling through the air
