Hold me down Mama.
The many rungs make me lose my breath.
My hip joints almost giving way.
Having lost count of my steps to the crest.
Let loose your grip Mama.
Breath stealthily and calm your nerves.
Wipe off your tears.
Switch your foothold and smile to the sky.
Bite your lip no more Mama.
As I climb this ladder so does my pride.
This act reminds you of Papa.
Forgive me Mama, I don't want to fall.
I pray for you Mama.
That you may heal from the trauma.
Each stride, I take I whisper to Karma.
That he may grant you skin of the Llama.
Hold me down Mama.
That I may not come crumbling down.
It's a ladder to heaven with the many steps.
But it's a skiddy ramp to the even hard surface.
