When I said yes to wear your ring.
I know nobody can replace your shoes,
Maybe I am finally gonna lose.
I am trying to find a way,
A way to be heard as someone else's prey.
You just don't get it anymore,
When times are tough, your running out the door.
You used to call me crazy,
Standing here for one last plea.
You act as if you don't recognize me,
Blind to the reality of what I see.

Why did you change your mind after all these years.
