Where is your home? she asked
-I don't have one I said,
Then where do you live
-Well I am trying to
Are you sad
-No just hurt
Why, what happened!
-I gasped and uttered,
how much are you willing to know?
All of it, they said
- once upon a time,
A little girl had dreams and desires
Which they set on fire
She was taught manners well,
Amid all the chaos.
There was so much yelling and telling and name calling around her
Craving love and compassion she peeped through the window and saw a dreadful horror.
Reality was scarier than the darkness of the night.
Fight fight fight.....
It's ok it will pass too, you can fight another day, they don't mean what they say
Consoled her soul as she sighed a deep breath
Being alone was fine, she learned the hard way.
She liked to draw but skipped the colours
She spent another day and her iridescence faded a little more
Lack of observance and her eyes sore.
Is it enough or do you wanna know more?
Where is your home? They asked
- I live across the street, 268-A sector 6
