Every night he'd sleep
On an open patio
He had no place to be
No place to call home,
He sought work by day
Drank to forget at night
Trying to win a battle
To set a wrong again right,
Give him a task
Give a mission, some work
He takes his duties seriously
Seldom from them he'd shirk,
His need for a job
Went unnoticed not
The proprietor offered work
Now he has the home he'd long sought,
Many homeless just don't care
Are to stoned to feel dispair
So they'll lay their head
Upon their stone bed,
Success stories like my friend
Only give way to a truth
Your homelessness you can end
With work putting o'er your head a roof.
Keep the Faith in your heart burning.
