This is my cousin Larry's obituary, I am honoring his memories in life, and I am sharing this to everyone on here. He died last Wednesday, October 10th around 8pm. He was born 1951.
We shared some funny moments together I will never forget. He was comical in his own way, and I cherished him for that. He grew up on the South side of Chicago Illinois in Roseland environment. His parents grew up down south of California. He has three sisters. I never met his parents, but I met all of his sisters. Larry and his sisters was just only raised by his mother. His mother died when he was in his late teens, and that hurt him so much.
Everytime he got drunk, he would start crying and brag talking about how much he loved his mother. I admired my cousin for that. There was nothing on this earth that he cared so much for than his mother. He loved his mother dearly. My aunt showed me an old picture of his mother when I was a kid, and I asked my aunt was his mother white? Because his mother did not look African American at all nor some of his siblings does not, and he look mix himself. But looking at a picture of his mother, she did not look like a black woman, she looked exactly like a white woman. My aunt said his mother was half Native American, and that was my first time hearing that interesting information that I have Indian ancestors on the Webb's side of my family, and on my father's side of the family that I have Indian ancestors. I never saw any Indians in my family, but I see that some of my relatives do not look all the way African, and some says I do not as well. But I will still always consider my blood African American because I will never deny my race. Everyone in my family had a funny Larry story to tell, and he kept everyone smiling and laughing everytime we had family events.
Even though this man was my cousin, I honestly did not see him as a cousin. I looked up to him like he was my uncle, that's how much respect I had for my cousin Larry. May God bless you in heaven cuzo, your memories will never be forgotten. It will go on forever, I know you are at peace in heaven with your mother, grandmother, your aunt, and along with your two uncles watching and probably laughing and joking making fun of this ugly world. May your soul rest In peace Cuzo❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
