I prayed for this day
For God to make a way
My spirit grew weary
The road seemed scary
The fear I couldn't hide
And hope has slowly died
As doubt took ahold of me
And caused me not to see
That God was there still
Though I couldn't feel
He was holding my hand
There at my rope's end
I learned to trust again
He's taken all my pain
His love shone through
And gave me hope anew
