"How did it come to this?"
I ask this to myself everyday
Where did I mess up?
Was it when I failed to talk to my only love?
Was it when I gave up on school?
Was it when I turned to drinking to solve all of my problems?
I ask my self all of these questions
And then some
Yet, the funny thing is I know the answer to
"How did it come to this?"
I can easily answer it
It came to this because of my inability to overcome my weaknesses
Not able to turn from the easy way out
I do not want to keep living this way
However, that is easier said than done
But I will try my utmost best
Pushing my self beyond my mental limits
