Fourteen years ago
I wrote in my diary a letter
Looking at the Christmas snow
Trying to make myself feel better
I wanted it to be, how it was
I wondered what was the reason
I wondered why this,at Christmas
Had to happen
I wasn't aware what Christmas could bring
How it can bring people together
It shows in my past writing
I never knew Christmas could bring forever
Christmas he often used to miss
But not this time
Christmas is more than a bliss
Even more now, does the Christmas star shine
For some time negativity was going on
He just got up and left
For a while he was gone
Something I found hard to accept
It seems like he was serious
About giving up on his family
I thought he could never gain back my trust
Until he came through the door calmly
He said
I thought I could live without you guys
But I was way over my head
I found what I thought was true were all lies

Now were celebrating our twenty six
