Lying to my face every now and then
Coaxing me to tell lies triumphing over the supposed truth you want
Lies you know aren't the truth for me but for you are
Keeping up the game of course as to how much you love me
Keeping up with the little facade
I can do none but ask myself HOW YOU DO IT
HOW you sleep after lying to me
HOW do you deal with your guilty conscience after lying to my face
After making me take the blame for all I did nothing wrong
After making me feel guilty and pitiful, how do you lay your head to rest??

OR IS IT A SIGN YOU WEREN'T MEANT TO STAY...
IS IT MAYBE YOU WERE JUST A LESSON IN MY LIFE.❓
