How could you tell me everything I ever wanted to hear.
When I stand here with eyes full of tears.
How could you dance to your lies
When we should have said goodbye.
How dare you be the man I always wanted in my life.
But you know I could never be your wife.
How dare you invite yourself into my heart
When all you ever did was tear me apart.
Why are you constantly a reminder of my bad days.
When I left you that rainy day, it should have been forever.
But now you stand here once again and it's not okay.
Because you and I never could have been together.
So why start up something that will only hurt in the end.
My heart still needs time to mend.
We can't retrace our old steps into our new ones.
The chapter should have been closed even before it begun.
