How do you get an answer From a politician?
How do you get a Straightforward yes or no?
You ask a simple Question
And down a different path They go.
You try to get the truth from them.
But keep playing day in.Day out
That elusive game of cat and Mouse
Which makes you want to Shout.
Deep inside you know they're Liars.
And want to say it to their face.
How do you make a politician listen
And put them in their place?
Will there ever be a day too soon
When these people admit to the mess
They've left of what was once Great Britain?
When will we hear them confess?
