Deep into the night I was just sitting there
Devastation and detriment everywhere
The shock of my life lost in the shadows
By the ever lingering pain of past battles
By Gods grace I have come this far
Through Gods power I withstand the war
Living on earth a foreigner in this land
Only surviving by holding Jesus hand
