Well, your face never leaves my gaze
Even if everything I see is anything but your smile
I fight to find a way to see you in awhile

I count the hours away, not just the days
My yearning to hold you grows with each moment
In my life you are a vital component

I perk up at the sound of your name
Closing my eyes I smell your beautiful scent
I make a heart from a paper clip that I bent

Simply sleeping without you is never the same
I toss and turn restlessly, lost without your love beam
Though when I do we wander together in my dreams

I never struggle to find reasons for you my love
You are the sugar to my spice and everything nice
And when I'm near you I'm in your loving vice

It must have hurt when you fell from above
Because it isn't every day I meet an angel
