On 16Feb21 there will be Marti Gras
A day of festivity to get drunk and rowdy
It matters not if the night is starry
Nor with ominous skies dark and cloudy...
The next day is a day that many call lent
When they give up something cherished
This will be their 2nd lent under Covid-19
Most of what they cherished, has perished...
Many of us have given up going out dancing
Given up face to face romancing
Six feet and social distancing now the norm
From human contact we give up are torn...
Bezo and other multi mega rich have
Read the tireless thoughts that I've projected
He is now in tune to those socially rejected
Yet, he must remember charity begins at home...
I do not believe in lent or ash Wednesday
I live to serve my Creator in everyday
To show my Creator my love in everyway
How many more wore words can I truly say???
