I thought breakups were there to make up,
I made a mistake of aiming high,
When our love was based on tame grounds,
Foundation was never stable hence our bond crumbled down like walls made out of clay.
Trust was our strongest element to persevere,
But after you kissed another man lips,
That's when my trust took a slide down on my face, tear drops to splash a hole on this cold floor we once called home.
I guess we even now, since I was the first one to come home late from messing around, yet I thought you forgave me somehow, guess now you know why I find it hard to give us another chance.
