With her hands cupped beneath
her protruding stomach
Her stomach churned
Her heart raced
Her mind questioningly spinned
"How would I take care of you? "
She is an outcast
She is rejected
She hardly puts her hand to her mouth
So she questions her stomach
"How would I take care of you? "
Meanwhile
She was bright
She was brilliant
She was intelligent
And very innocent
But it was a pity
Her naïvity was explored
Her back was placed against the ground
Her innocence was stolen
She caught the seed
And now,
She questions her seed,
"How would I take care of you? "
Remembering these
She cries
She bites her fingers
Her heart bleeds
With the only question running through her head
"How would I take care of you?"
