when your life finally starts to rebuild itself,
where does that need to demolish everything come from?
i guess, in a way, the humans like feeling hurt: it makes them feel something.
because if your life is all rainbows,
what happened to the rain that created them?
the rain is gone.
the rainbows feel impossible to exist.
and if there's one thing the humans don't like is having something unexplainable in their lives.
so they keep hurting themselves.
and the rainbows will feel real.
