Shower water drenches me like humidity. Sticking to my skin and clinging to my shirt. After minutes it's still there. Hanging in the air. I feel it in my lungs. I see it in the humidifier. Floors that once struggled to dry, now struggle to be wet. Walking down the hall is like walking through a forest fresh with rain. Getting slapped and poured by the heavy air. Soaking sheets in your sleep.
