I am a lion.
Surrounded by a pack of Hyena's.
Encircled in fire.
I'm holding onto my pride with every ounce of energy.
Beasts colliding in perfect synergy.
I am a lion.
Sharpening my claws for the fight.
Gnashing my teeth day and night.
Awake or asleep.
I get no relief.
Will tonight be the night I finally lose my mind?
I am a lion.
I am King of this wounded heart.
I am the symbol of strength for so many.
So why do I feel like I want to fall apart?
