I am a woman

I am a woman
I am a woman,
and I am blessed to be one.
Women are not insufficient.
We are not weak.
We do not need to prove anything to anybody.
We are gorgeous.
We are not underappreciated.
We are not less than men.
We are unique in our own field.
Yes, I cook — and it is a blessing to make magic from rawness.
I can lead and still be a woman.
I bleed every month, and still show perfection how it’s done.
I carry figures that defy math and gravity —
a rare mixture of elegance and skin that glows under the sun.
I am a softness the world adores.
Everything in me is beauty wrapped in eloquence and ethereal essence.
Every gaze upon me is a blessing to the beholder.
My strength is not in being loud and empty.
It is in quietness, value, high esteem, and essence.
When I walk, heads turn.
When I speak, the room listens —
because I do not bark words,
I communicate.
My body itself is a doctor,
a house for my internals
and a companion to me.
I do not need to chase perfection.
I am the perfection the world needs.
