I am not to be condemned

By false words

Words that hold no truth

To the person I am

As a human

I make mistakes

I become ill

I have emotions

I am a friend

I am a woman

I am a daughter

I am a mother

Yet my family

Sees me as a child

As unclean

As a burden

My time is my own

My priorities are my own

My views are my own

My life is my own

I clean until my bones break

I study until my eyelids grow heavy

I love until my heart feels empty

I cry until my mind goes blank

Yet I clean a mess

Made by non-priorities

Im blamed for messes

That arent my responsibility

My mother's dogs

Mud from her boots

She is not my responsibility

Therefore my help is just help

You shall not define me
