I don't want to be sad.
I assure you, a pessimists I am not.
I think of when last I was happy,
think I try, but sadly I forgot.
With age comes wisdom,
and wisdom brings grief.
I understand the things
I once did not believe.
The smiles I saw
was just a mask they wore,
which ruins my memories
I once adored.
Their ways are now revealed to me,
this saddens my heart.
Where are the good old days
before they fell apart?
He is a rock
and she, a hard place.
I am in between
with a pretentious face.
Here we go again,
it is no surprise.
Their problems were never resolved,
they told themselves lies.
Observering thier love
is not much of a show.
I cannot see the love,
I wonder if they know.
I did not enjoy writing this peom,
for it makes me sad.
I regret to say, if they divorce,
"I will be glad."
