Today I decided to open
The box of old memories,
It started to reveal
All the forgotten stories.
It revealed the past when,
How cheerfully everything I did,
Now I really appreciate
The enthusiasm of that little kid.
No, I haven't changed a lot,
Still many fears I hold,
But to face them now
I guess I am enough bold.
I still cry over little things,
And emotions still hold me back,
Even now I am shy,
Still a lot of confidence I lack.
But yes it is better than the past,
Because now I have enough guts to fight,
I now have found my direction,
And have my own new light.
Though success still
Seems to be very far,
But now in my own Galaxy
I am the most beautiful shining Star.
If only I could go back and tell her,
How happy she would be,
I am sure the younger myself,
Would really be proud of today's me.
