I am the sky, vast and boundless,
Stretching out in hues of blue and gold.
All else is just fleeting, passing by,
Mere weather, here and gone, foretold.
The clouds may come and block my view,
With their billowing forms and swirling hues,
But I remain steady, unchanging and true,
A constant, a fixture, a timeless muse.
The rain may fall in sheets and streams,
A deluge that drenches all below,
But I hold firm, unbroken and serene,
A steadfast presence, a calm and gentle glow.
And when the storms rage, with thunder and light,
And winds whip wildly through the air,
I am unmoved, a steady, guiding light,
A beacon that leads the way with care.
For I am the sky, eternal and true,
A vast expanse that stretches on and on,
And everything else is just passing through,
A fleeting moment, a brief and distant song.
So let the weather come and go,
Let it rage and rage, and then be still,
For I am the sky, forever aglow,
A love that endures, forever to thrill.
