The next scripture he mentioned that I took notes on is "when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. 2 Chronicles 20:9. What this Scripture means to me is when the enemy comes in, we lift our faith. Do not give up on our faith. When things start going good for us, getting in the word, praising God, and reading the Bible. That is when the devil comes in and distracts us from the good.
