The scripture Pastor Mallett gave us from the Bible was 2 Chronicles 20:15-20. "And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."2 Chronicles 20:20. The message I got out of this scripture and took notes on is that we must come together, and ask help from the lord. We must come together and seek in our faith. Believe in who we serve. faith without works is dead. We should act on the word. The message God was saying to me that struck the most was that we must face our challenges. Meaning, we go through challenges in our lives that we face, and we should not give up on our challenges. Challenges make us stronger in our faith. God challenges us on our faith. For example, if I am not an early morning person to wake up and go to church or hear our message on the conference line. I would pray and ask God to please give me the strength and encouragement to wake myself up in the morning to hear your word O Lord. This is a challenge for me O God. We have to urge ourselves to do things that are a challenge for us.
