I dialed a number, eager to speak,
But the words I shared, they made me weak.
For as I spoke, I sensed their disdain,
Their disapproval, causing me pain.
I tried to explain, to bridge the divide,
But their judgment clung, so harsh, so wide.
Their closed-mindedness, hard to endure,
Their refusal to listen, that was for sure.
In frustration, I finally made the choice,
To hang up the call, to silence their voice.
For if they couldn't hear, couldn't understand,
Then what was the point? There never is with. person like this.
