Blind folded so I cannot see
What is standing in front of me.
Covered tightly are my ears..
So I cannot hear.
Everything was taken away..
Alas, I'm not okay.
Before you covered up my senses
I was out there mending fences.
I don't know how many times I could say I'm sorry for hurting you.
These words are my truth.
I miss the sounds of your voice.
This was not by my choice.
My mouth was stitched up because I let you in.
I told you things I wasn't supposed to and now I'll never win.
We used to be a wonderful tag team.
But then you became mean.
I lost you...before I even had the chance to believe in us.
Appearantly I didn't do enough...
I should have fought harder is what they made me believe.
I felt deceived....
of the answers I never received.
