I know now, racism is real

In my country I had jingoism
That I didn't believe their was racism
I thought racism was neologism
Until the day I saw formalism
With police using their uniform
To do a black man harm
Saying he did something
When I was there, long enough to see, he did nothing
Ever since then in dynamism
I preach against racism and sexism
Seeing that black mans pain
I could never be the same
