I lost you.

I lost you with your last breath saying
" I love you "
I lost you with your last look, holding your hand with the feelings of fear,
That I know in your eyes, I saw a tear.

Before God took you away from me an angel stood by your bedside.
The light was shining so bright, I saw it in your eyes, the squint, the glow then you passed away, you have died.

I miss your laughter, I miss your tears..
I miss all the love you gave to me through the years.
But I don't miss all the pain you went through
The sickness that took you away from me, I just didn't know what to do.

I gave you all my love, I kissed away the pain.
That night you told me you loved me, we were kissing in the rain.
But this sadness took over you and the disease left you insane.
The only memory I have left of you is when we were kissing in the rain.
