I Love Me,Myself and I

I used to feel so small
like a caterpillar crawling on a leaf
Invisible and trying to be sneaky
a little, powerless and pathetic thief
I've grown so much in me that I've uncovered my identity
When I learned to love myself, I felt such terrific liberty
I used to hide my scars for they're not nice aesthetically
I described myself as insecure, mediocre and fugly
Then I came to realize how fortunate I have been
I'm smart, intelligent, and others envy what I've been given
Loving myself is the best reward I've received
I've known my own strengths, I've been happier I believe.
I can look back I say, " Eugene, you got it all wrong.
You're amazing, incomparable. You're awesome all along."
