I Love You My Honey Bee
When I look deep into those old dark gloomy eyes of mine All I saw was a man that gave up trying to find
I looked everywhere for love from shore to shore but love was just not for me anymore
Then out of nowhere you came along You made me laugh made me smile made feel alive once again I felt that I did belong
Thank you for saving me You are my honey bee
You gave me strength courage not to hide behind a door I then went and fought the demon that stole my pride and he was no more
I lost my fire my Hunger My desires My will to live was like an old flat tire No air and a hole to big to repair
All of a sudden I was hungry and I was on fire I thought those two for sure were lost forever as was my desire
I haven’t felt this hungry to succeed and not fail To overcome obstacles to be the best to get that letter in the mail
That says out of the thousands you were the only one that caught their eye What happened to me I just wanted to cry
Then out of nowhere you came along You made me laugh made me smile made feel alive once again I felt that I did belong
Thank you for saving me You are my honeybee
You gave me the strength and the courage not to hide behind a door I then went and fought the demon that stole my pride and he was no more
Thank you for saving me your my honey bee
I lost my fire my Hunger My desire My will to live was like an old flat tire No air and a hole to big to repair
I was not ashamed of begging on the streets I was dirty unclean no shoes on my feet
There was no drive in me I didn’t care anymore I was too hurt too broken down too sore
I wasn’t hungry to be the best I didn’t even care if I pass the test
I didn’t mind being dirty sleeping on floor I smelt so bad they wouldn’t let me in the store
So I had to sneak in on the sly What happened to me I just wanted to cry
Then out of nowhere you came along You made me laugh made me smile made feel alive once again I felt that I did belong
Thank you for saving me You are my honey bee
You gave me strength courage not to hide behind a door I then went and fought the demon that stole my pride and he was no more
You gave me my pride back for that I love thee you are my honeybee
I lost My will to live it was like an old flat tire no air and a hole to big to repair
The first day back to work I walked through that front door Everybody stared then clapped for I was the best man on the floor
I made more money that first day than anyone else and I looked ready for any test No one could compete with what I had in my chest
I had my fire my Hunger my desire to be better than all the rest I was hungry had that fire that desire to be top dog the best
Because you came along From no where you made me feel that I did belong
Thank you for saving me
You are my honey bee
I love you my honeybee
