I may be a child
and you might despise
the fact that i too
am very wise
that i have knowledge beyond my years
that i don't hide behind my fears
that i am wise because of poetry
i am wise and still have things to do and see
but i am wise and yes i know
that you might say that there's more you know
but i believe that my mind never stops working
and that i am a intelligent woman in the making
