One more poem,
Is what it's gonna take,
If I want to be a poet,
And get some kind of break.
So, I need to keep writing,
And not give up,
It's been about a thousand poems,
And boy it's been tough!
So, what do I do,
If I can't get in,
I grab another piece of paper,
And start all over again.
If the first few hundred,
Won't ever be read,
And if I can't get a break this time,
I'll become a race car driver instead!
