When I first started high school I was alone,
No friends, no hope, was all on my own
I got depressed and thought that I was wasting my time,
Was lonely and sad, almost committed a crime
What I needed was hope, what I needed was a friend
And in my prayers was a message I send
To God up above, and to my family as well,
Who helped pulled me out of another painful hell
