Lies after lies beneath your hidden truth.
It didn't matter that you hurt me,
I still put you first, but you chose not to see.
Whatever was important to me, you dismissed it, for your own well being.
When I was happy and smiling, you appeared to be mean.
I knew how you were treating me was wrong.
But for everything, I chose to be strong.
I didn't want us to fall apart but fall together.
Every time I wished upon a star, you claimed there is no forever.
So before we even had a chance, you cursed us..
You cursed love..
I gave you everything..
And this is what you bring.
It didn't take long before you walked out that door.
It's okay, I see the kind of nightmares, you bring in your life.
Thank God I never became your wife.
Can you imagine the haunting years we would of had together.
I see why you don't believe in forever.
