I sat down in front of that blank canvas.
Trying to put what's in my mind into color.
My paint organized in one hand and my brush in the
other.
I closed my eyes as that music started to play in the
background.
And there I was.
Sitting alone in that dimly lit room.
I looked for you but you were nowhere to be found.
I looked around and around until I caught a glimpse
of this silhouette of you.
I tried to trace you through that crowded room,
But I lost track of you.
Suddenly I felt a tough on my back.
I turned around and there you were in that beautiful
white dress.
I took your hand as we danced the night away.
I couldn't take my eyes off you.
That song came to an end;
You started to fade away.
I watched as your hand disappeared in mine.
My smile went away as I stood there speechless.
I opened my eyes,
Only to find a halfway painted picture of me
standing there with my hand stretched out.
Maybe the other half will be finished when I find my
other half.
