I saw her pouring her tears into the wadrobe,
With her arms trying to stop her voice out,
Then she came out with a perfect smile,
I am telling you,it was indeed perfect,
It was not of any faking,
Because it was a kind of smile than had won over tears,
Tears that could make her child cry too,
I saw a mother, Yes I saw her.
I saw her becoming a slave,of something she had never imagined before,
I saw her overworking while carrying herself through bleeding sores,
I saw her begging , probably the most thing she hated in her whole living,
I saw her kneeling while mentioning her child's name,
I saw her going against her own odds,
I saw a mother,yes I saw her.
I saw her lifting her own faith,
I saw her combining her big faith with her child's little faith,
Not for her own sake,
But for her dear child, because he was
her only hope,
And because that's what she was living for,
I saw a mother, yes I saw her.
I saw her refusing to give up,
I saw her persisting when stormy life threw her mercilessly,
I saw her enduring the pains, and managed to say"I am okay son"
I saw her showing love ,I am sure she had
never received,
I saw her motherly living,
I saw a mother,yes I saw her.
I saw her sacrificing her living she once
considered most valuable,
I saw her sacrificing her beauty, she was once so concerned about,
I saw her sacrificing her love for the world
so as to give it fully to her own child,
I saw her denying herself the life she was dreaming of,
To help her child live his dream.
I saw a mother,Yes I saw her.
