I Saw Death

Looks, like candy; pink and alluring
This structure I swore, rode
Down here, one early winter morning
When the air was Misty and Cold
And dreams were wet, like dew on the road.
It appeared peering
Oblivious of me, staring
I saw that very eye
Searching the faces of passersby
As a storm of wind Spread
It gaze fell on me
I discerned red
But it was that smile
That made me realize, today was mine.
