I should have let you do the things you want
for me
I should have let you kiss me on my forehead
Or hug me tight when its cold night
Or atleast let you make me smile when I'm not alright
I should have let you dream for the future of us
I should have help you fight for this so it could last
I should have make you happy too and stayed with you
Tell you "I love you", and that it's true
I should have make you feel that you're the best gift I ever had
I wish I could have done that, maybe I wouldn't be
this miserable
Maybe I am not crying every night
Maybe I am not regretting now at all
If I could have done that
Maybe. Just maybe you will not ask me to let go of your hands
But now all I can feel is the pain from my desicion's aftermath
The pain of not having you by my side.
